<.....Hello, My name is Jennifer Riggin, and I'm studying to become a Graphic Artist. I've been working with computers since I was little, and greatly enjoyed the Sierra games, such as the King's Quest series, Space Quest series, and Hero's Quest, which later became known a Quest for Glory. The Sierra graphics used to fasinated me, and in 7th grade i began capturing screens and adding elaborate scenes to them. In 9th grade, my family purchased a Microtek E6 scanner, which included Adobe Photoshop 4.0. I quickly became enthralled with its capabilities; my sierra scenes looked like child play. The first thing I learned was how to clean up photos, I began smoothing out bad scans, cleaning up skin and teeth, and taking scratches and spots off. Then I began by fooling around with the filters, then i figured out how to combine other scenes, and paste my head on other peoples' bodies, (namely The Smashing Pumpkins) from there I learned how to manipulate graphics and create abstract scenes, which lead to my first Del Mar Fair entry and a blue ribbon. Later I dsicovered 3D graphics, and the joys of Bryce 3D. Although I've had the program for less than a year, I have very little actually on this page, as I spend most of my time practicing or extending my 3D graphics library. A great addition was Poser, and then Poser 3, which have greatly broadened my horizons. My first real use of Poser 3 combined with Bryce also was entered in the Del Mar Fair and earned me another blue ribbon, and also is the first image that I feel comfortable and proud enough to put on my page. Soon I will have more up, time providing, though I spend much of my time experimenting with new programs and seeing what new effects I can obtain. Currently, I'm looking for work and experience as an artist. I've started doing photo retouching and melding, along with #3D graphics for friends and such. I hope to continue in the Graphic Arts field, as it is expanding in every direction and is something that truly drives me to work hard to be the best i can.
